Yahoo seems more serious to develop its mobile services. This is evident from the decision to buy Yahoo Summly, an application that presents a collection of news with an attractive design.

Summly itself actually is a startup company that was developed by a young entrepreneur from the UK, Nick D'Aloisio. Currently, D'Aloisio then 17 years old.

D'Aloisio made ​​Summly app two years ago in his home which is located in London, England. Although still relatively new, Summly had already worked with some big companies, like News Corp, the company led by media giant, Rupert Murdoch.

For the problem of funding, over the years, Summly helped by investors from China, Li Ka-Shing. D'Aloisio is also funded by the actor Ashton Kutcher and Yoko Ono.

It is not known how much it costs to be incurred by Yahoo to buy Summly. However, according to the results of the site investigation All Things, probably D'Aloisio has a new young millionaires to receive 30 million dollars directly from Yahoo. D'Aloisio will receive 90 percent of the money in cash and the rest will be in the form of shares.

Yahoo does not plan to develop Summly. The company is currently led by Marissa Mayer even planning to shut down the service. In return, Yahoo will integrate Summly to other Yahoo products, especially mobile services.

Three employees of Summly itself will join Yahoo are likely to be implemented in the second quarter of 2012. While D'Aloisio will remain in London and became the youngest Yahoo employees.
