Rules of LTE

MCIT Tifatul sembiring about regulations target the fourth-generation telecom services with the technology Long Term Evolution (LTE) to be completed in 2013.
"The issue we are going to heed the 4G LTE, the current team of Kominfo was brewing rules. Later this year we hope is over," said Tifatul, in the building of Communication and Information.
Tifatul also said to be using LTE technology neutral. So that the operator can be more free in choosing the preferred devices and technologies.
"That's LTE technology use neutral, so the operator can later upgrade it enough," added Tifatul.
Unfortunately, he did not specify whether the LTE next year could soon be operationalized.
Earlier, around August Tifatul has said LTE service will operate in Indonesia starting in 2013 using the 2.3 GHz frequency which is also occupied by Wimax service.
MCIT Tifatul Sembiring said LTE technology for 4G mobile may present more quickly without having to wait for migration analog TV to digital TV completed in 2018.
"Who says the new LTE could be in 2018? Next year also can. We will start LTE in 2013, just wait!" Tifatul said, at the time.
As is known, the frequency of 700 MHz that is currently occupied by the organizers free to air TV is still in its migration to digital TV services. Frequencies are staying digadang suitable for LTE standard as used in the United States.
